We're pleased to introduce our new menu of snack plates and platters to enjoy alongside wine by the glass or by the bottle. This snack menu is available from 7 June and is served underneath our pergola outside the tasting room.

This summer, we've introduced a new light menu so you can have "a little something" to nibble on while you enjoy a casual glass or two of wine on the terrace. There’s no need to book: simply turn up and enjoy a glass (or a bottle) of wine and order food on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Our snack menu is available from Friday 6th June 2025 until the end of September, 10am-5pm (food service last orders at 3pm).

What's on offer?
Our little snack boards include hand-cooked Kentish crisps, juicy green olives and deliciously moreish salted almonds. A perfect trio of nibbles to enjoy alongside a glass of two of wine.

Or, opt for our cheese and olives selection. A selection of Kent cheese with homemade chutney, marinated olives, grapes and freshly baked, locally made baguette.

For something that's a little more substantial, opt for one of our platters - a real showcase of local, delicious ingredients. Platters are laden with tasty delicacies - Kentish charcuterie, umami-rich cheeses and our chef-prepared salads and freshly baked treats. Our Head Chef Anthony Coppard will ensure the platters feature an ever-changing selection of seasonal bites.

The current platter includes Kent cheeses with homemade chutney, Moons Green fennel salami, herb and horseradish potato salad, sun-blushed tomato and pesto bean salad, marinated olives, hand-cooked crisps, locally baked baguette, Kentish strawberries and grapes and a homemade sweet treat.

Can I book a table?
Unfortunately, we don’t take advance bookings for casual dining. If you’ve booked a tasting flight or another experience, you’re welcome to arrive early, or stay later to enjoy wine by the glass and our light lunch menu without having to make any additional booking. And if you haven’t booked a tour or tasting, just drop in on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday to enjoy our wine and food.

I’ve booked a tasting flight, can I have my food at the same time?
Tasting flights usually take place at 11am or at 2pm and are focused solely on our wines. You are welcome to order food either before or after your tasting flight. For the 2pm tasting flight, we recommend arriving at least an hour before to leave enough time to enjoy a light lunch with us.

What can I do at the Nest if I haven’t pre-booked?
Our self-guided tour takes you on a lovely 45-minute walking route through the vines. After your walk, stop for a glass of wine and a selection of snacks or small plates. We also have a shop for purchasing wine to take away. No booking necessary.

Can I bring children?
Yes, you are welcome to bring children to our outdoor hospitality spaces; we serve soft drinks for drivers and under-18s.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your dog to enjoy our outdoor hospitality spaces. Unfortunately, we have to be stricter inside our tasting room, The Nest. Your dogs are welcome on the ground floor but are not permitted upstairs. This means you cannot bring dogs to our Estate Tour, Icons Experience or other ticketed events which take place inside The Nest. For their safety, please ensure dogs are always kept on a lead.

It looks like rain. Is the tasting area covered?
Yes, it's covered from above, but is open-sided. We recommend dressing for our unpredictable British weather! We can provide blankets if it’s a bit nippy.

When are you open?

  • For bookings: We’re open for pre-booked tour experiences and tastings from 10am until 5pm, Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesdays) throughout the year.  See our website for a full list of what’s on.
  • Without a booking: Our outside pergola is open for wine and food service without a booking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm throughout the summer.
