The Nest – seats up to 26 guests
Our original entertaining space, The Nest is warm and atmospheric in winter, with wood panelling and vineyard vistas. In summer, you can throw open the balcony doors and step outside to enjoy views to Boot Hill vineyard and the coast beyond.
The Hide – seats up to 16 guests
Tucked above our winery, The Hide is ideal for intimate gatherings. Abundant natural light and a private balcony create a relaxed yet refined setting.
The Cellar – seats up to 16 guests
At the heart of our winery, The Cellar offers views of oak barrels, foudres and stainless-steel tanks. Guests enjoy a private viewing area for an immersive winery experience.
The Winemaker’s Library – seats up to 16 guests
Our most intimate space, The Winemaker’s Library offers a private setting with views across the vines and the working winery.
Boot Hill Deck – seats up to 16 guests
Sheltered among the vines, the Deck is perfect for open-air gatherings. Host relaxed events such as canapé and wine pairings or sharing platters, or enjoy a luxurious shellfish barbecue prepared by guest chefs.
The Nest Garden and Pergola – seats up to 80 and 54 guests
Between the cellar door and the vines of Boot Hill, these covered outdoor spaces are ideal for casual dining, tasting flights or elegant drinks receptions.

For special occasions – birthdays, anniversaries or a celebratory gathering – our private wine lunch, tour and tasting is a favourite.
A typical itinerary (11am to 3pm) includes:
A welcome glass of Gusbourne
A guided vineyard tour, with a glass of sparkling amongst the vines
A tutored tasting of our wines
A seasonal three- or four-course lunch
From £120 per person, plus £300 room hire

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. We’re happy to accommodate gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and other dietary needs wherever possible. Please share details when booking or email nest@gusbourne.com at least one week before your visit.
Is The Nest accessible?
Yes. We have step-free access to key areas and accessible facilities on site plus golf buggies for getting around the vineyard. Please mention any accessibility requirements when you enquire so we can make suitable arrangements.
What is the group size for private events?
We host private events for groups of 8 to 40 guests, depending on your chosen space and style of experience. Larger groups can be accommodated in our outdoor spaces during summer months.
Can you create a bespoke menu or wine selection?
Absolutely. Head Chef Anthony Coppard can tailor your menu to include favourite ingredients, seasonal produce or a particular theme. Our expert team will recommend wines to match each course.
Can I book a private event during harvest or winter months?
Yes. We host events year-round. In autumn and winter, our indoor spaces such as The Nest and The Cellar offer a warm, atmospheric setting.
Do you offer corporate or business events?
Yes. We regularly host corporate days, combining meetings with vineyard tours, tastings or lunches. We’ll work with you to tailor the day to your team’s needs.
What happens if the weather is poor?
We always have elegant indoor spaces available. Outdoor areas such as the Deck or Pergola are used when conditions allow.
Can we purchase wine on the day?
Yes. Wines served during your visit are available to purchase from our cellar door, so you can take a little of Gusbourne home with you.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking at least four weeks in advance for private events to secure your preferred date and space. In peak season, from May to harvest, please plan as far ahead as possible.
Can you arrange transport too?
No, but we can certainly provide recommendations for local companies, from taxi firms to minibuses and coach hire. If you are coming by coach or minibus, please let us know and we will arrange parking spaces and meet and greet your party when you arrive. Parking at Gusbourne is free.
Can you provide a birthday cake and birthday decor?
We don’t provide birthday cakes, but we are happy to take delivery of a cake on the day (by pre-arrangement) and can serve it for you. Similarly, we don’t provide decor for special occasions, but we can take delivery of balloons or similar for your celebration. We like to avoid decor that needs to be mounted on walls.
