That first glass of chilled sparkling wine held up to the sunlight – bubbles streaming upwards. A shimmering foreground to frame the view of bright green vines and an even brighter sky beyond.

It’s hard to beat.

With spring here, and its long weekends unfolding before us, there’s no better time to come and enjoy English sparkling wine at our estate. Here are our favourite ways to visit, from an at-your-own-pace stroll in the vineyards to our most in-depth hosted experiences.

A self-guided stroll and some sparkling

Our Appledore vineyards are open whenever we are. You don’t need a ticket or to book; just come and say hello at The Nest, collect a map and enjoy a self-guided tour. Afer you’ve enjoyed a relaxed stroll around the vines, reward yourself with a well-earned glass of wine back at The Nest. You’ll be able to order any of our classic range by the glass or bottle. You’re welcome to bring your dog to enjoy our outdoor spaces, too.

An expert-led tour and a tasting flight

If you’d like to learn a little more about our vines – and our wines – then book yourself on to a guided tour and sparkling tasting flight. One of our knowledgeable team will host your walk around the vineyard, answering any questions you might have, before you return to The Nest to compare and contrast a selection of four wines. We have a number of tasting flights to choose from but, if it’s your first visit, our Sparkling Tasting Flight is the perfect introduction to our range.
