Produced specially for British Airways and selected by Tim Jackson MW, Gusbourne Airbourne 2021 is a vibrant, Pinot Noir-dominant vintage sparkling wine.

Pale gold in the glass, it opens with aromas of orange zest, white peach and raspberry. On the palate, notes of green apple, nectarine and red cherry bring brightness and energy, followed by soft spice, fresh ginger and richer hints of brioche, toasted macadamia and apple pie.

Generous, rounded and expressive, the wine has a creamy mousse and a long, elegant finish.
Serve chilled as an aperitif, or pair with richer fish and lighter meat dishes: hake with tomato and chorizo, classic fried chicken or a roasted onion tart would all work beautifully.
