For lovers of Burgundian-esque elegance and precision, this is a rare opportunity to experience two of Gusbourne’s finest expressions of English still wine – both aged to perfection.
Our Chardonnay Guinevere 2018 is barrel-fermented and aged in French oak. It’s a wine of balance and poise, brimming with notes of citrus, stone fruit and butter. The palate is linear and pure, with rich, candied citrus and oatmeal.
Meanwhile, our Pinot Noir 2018 is silky and structured, with morello cherry, wild strawberry and earthy spice. The 2018 vintage was near-perfect for Pinot, and this complex, elegant wine is maturing beautifully.
