Join Ambassador Steve Kirkham at DUKES' Great British Restaurant for an incredible evening of British flavours. After a welcome drink of English Rosé 2023, which will set a suitably vinous tone, you’ll sit down to a five-course feast created by Executive Chef Nigel Mendham. The menu stars quintessentially British ingredients such as early-season peas, Wye Valley asparagus, chalk-stream trout, Yorkshire chicken and British rhubarb. Each delectable dish will be partnered with a different Gusbourne cuvée. A particular treat is the cured and roasted chalk-stream trout with brown butter, served alongside Gusbourne Brut Reserve Late Disgorged 2015. Elegant yet relaxed, The Beaumont’s restaurant is the beating heart of this Victorian townhouse hotel in the centre of Hexham. An extraordinary evening of Gusbourne wines awaits on 23 May. You’ll enjoy the full range of Gusbourne classic sparkling, including our signature Blanc de Blancs, Rosé and Blanc de Noirs. The focus will then switch to our still wines, such as our award-winning Chardonnay Guinevere, our Pinot Noir, still English Rosé and we’ll finish on a sweet note. All these wines will be paired with the Beaumont’s superb seasonal dishes. This promises to be an evening not to be missed. Tickets are £90 per person.

British Pullman x Gusbourne

For this unique event with British Pullman, guests will be invited to enjoy art deco splendour, exceptional gastronomy and captivating scenery on board a British Pullman Luxury train. Your day begins at London Victoria Station with a Bellini cocktail. Once aboard, you’ll enjoy picturesque views and a lavish three-course brunch. Once the Pullman arrives in Kent, you’ll be driven to the vineyards at Appledore for a Gusbourne tour, tasting, delectable canapés and entertainment. Returning to the train, you’ll indulge in a sumptuous three-course dinner with a bottle of wine on your way back to London.
