VICTORIA MOORE, THE TELEGRAPH
“Yes, it’s a very good wine indeed: recognisably Gusbourne on the nose, seamless and fluent when you sip, with an airy breadth of flavour reminiscent of lemon mousse, baking sourdough and apricot flesh but also an exhilarating gleam of acidity that whisks you along like a bobsleigh, and leaves you with a refreshing saline taste in the mouth. It has poise, it has length, and it evolves in the glass in a very promising way.”
Wine Enthusiast score of 98 points
"Complex, maturing nose with aromas of apricot, red gooseberry and a wide spectrum of candied citrus. On the rich yet crisp palate there are also notes of hibiscus, toast and caramel. Impressive length, the mousse really fine at the finish. A cuvee of 64% chardonnay and 36% pinot noir that was matured on the lees in bottle for more than 80 months.” 93 Points. James Suckling.
