Brut Reserve Twenty Ten
This Library Release wine has been gently maturing in our cellars. A Chardonnay dominant blend of the three classic Champagne grapes, this is a complex wine which balances orchard fruit notes with more savoury, toasty flavours.

ABOUT THE 2010 VINTAGE
A fruitful year brought about by a short, warm and successful flowering at the end of June. Unsettled weather in September and early October meant a later than average harvest, but this slower development to maturity resulted in Chardonnay fruit with great finesse and ageing potential.
TASTING NOTE
The nose here is really evolved and quite concentrated, with yellow apple, ripe pear, sweet spice and toast; there’s also a savoury, earthy note too. The palate is complex and very generous with red apple, cherry and wild strawberry with soft orchard fruit, ripe citrus notes, toasted nuts, caramel and butterscotch. There’s good freshness on finish.
