Pinot Noir Rosé 2020 is a 100% Pinot Noir single-vineyard bottling, for the first time using fruit solely from our Mill Hill vineyard in Kent. With spring and summer on the horizon, this is the perfect wine to open as the weather turns warmer.
Our wines are always the truest expressions of quality from each given year. Charlie and his team assess the juice from every vineyard after harvest to determine which will be used in our new vintages, which is especially important when producing a single vineyard wine that uses fruit solely from one selected vineyard site to create a distinctive style. After the 2020 harvest Charlie felt that this year, the Pinot Noir grapes in Mill Hill lent themselves most naturally to the rosé style to show off their attractive red fruit character.
Pinot Noir Rosé 2020 is pale and delicate with raspberry, cherry and strawberry notes prominent on the nose. It is elegant and dry, full of vibrant fruit character with summer berries, orange peel and nectarine notes, as well as hints of wildflowers and a ripe citrus-led freshness on the finish.
Our still rosé was first released in 2018 using fruit from our Cherry Garden vineyard. The 2018 and 2019 vintages both won a gold medals and trophies for best in their class at the WineGB Awards in 2019 and 2020.
Pinot Noir Rosé 2020 is £25. Our wines receive complimentary delivery to UK mainland destinations.
