Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs is now firmly established as our most accomplished wine, having earned ten Gold or Platinum awards since the first vintage release in 2010. This year has seen further critical recognition with a Gold medal at TEXSOM 2017, two Gold at IWSC 2017 as well as Gold at IWC 2017.

Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs is also our most distinguished wine made from 100% Estate grown Chardonnay grapes. It offers the purest expression of our craft, using only the lightest whole bunch pressing. Each wine is created with limited interference and matured to suit the innate character of the vintage. Thirty six months of lees ageing followed by a further six months on the cork is optimal; however we release our wines only when deemed ready by Charlie Holland and his team based on taste alone.

Crafting precise and direct vintage wines each and every year is an obsession for all of us at Gusbourne. A reflection of both time and place, this purist approach leaves very little scope for compromise. Our Blanc de Blancs is characteristically sheer, elegant and finessed with a signature backbone of mineral complexity.

While humbled by success, we remain firmly focused on our craft and critical accolades serve only to drive our ongoing pursuit of perfection.
